Key Responsibilities
- Prepare soil for planting, including tilling, fertilizing, and creating beds.
- Plant, cultivate, and irrigate various vegetable crops such as lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, and root vegetables.
- Perform manual tasks such as weeding, thinning, and pruning to ensure optimal crop health and growth.
- Monitor crops for signs of pests, diseases, or nutrient deficiencies and report findings to supervisors.
- Harvest vegetables manually and using simple tools, ensuring quality, proper handling, and minimizing waste.
- Wash, sort, grade, and pack harvested produce efficiently for distribution and sale.
- Operate and maintain basic farm machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently.
- Assist with general farm maintenance, including cleaning work areas, repairing infrastructure, and general upkeep.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and food handling standards at all times.
- Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve daily production targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, kneeling, lifting (up to 50 lbs / 23 kg), and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions (hot, cold, rain, direct sun).
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.
- Ability to follow instructions meticulously and work effectively as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications
