Key Responsibilities
- Receive incoming shipments, verifying contents against packing lists and purchase orders for accuracy.
- Inspect received goods for damage, discrepancies, or defects, and report any issues promptly.
- Unload, sort, and store materials in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging products for transportation.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual records to accurately track inventory movement.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the shipping and receiving areas.
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and reconciliations.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely (training provided if needed).
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy (e.g., email, data entry).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Effective verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
