Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company vehicles for local deliveries within Tallahassee and surrounding areas.
- Load and unload packages accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper handling of all items.
- Verify delivery manifests and ensure all assigned packages are accounted for.
- Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
- Adhere strictly to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Maintain clear and professional communication with dispatch, customers, and team members.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries, addressing inquiries courteously.
- Handle delivery documentation and paperwork accurately.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the company vehicle.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
