Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload raw materials from delivery trucks and finished goods onto outbound vehicles.
- Transport materials, components, and finished products between various production stations, storage areas, and shipping docks.
- Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
- Maintain accurate inventory by scanning and documenting material movements using handheld devices or computer systems.
- Assist with general warehouse organization, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with production supervisors and warehouse staff to prioritize tasks and ensure timely material flow.
Required Skills
- Valid state Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of proven experience operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) and pallet jacks.
- Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
- Strong understanding and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
- Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning and data entry.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Current Forklift Operator Certification.
