Key Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload raw materials from delivery trucks and finished goods onto outbound vehicles.
  • Transport materials, components, and finished products between various production stations, storage areas, and shipping docks.
  • Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs promptly.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory by scanning and documenting material movements using handheld devices or computer systems.
  • Assist with general warehouse organization, housekeeping, and other duties as assigned to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Collaborate with production supervisors and warehouse staff to prioritize tasks and ensure timely material flow.

Required Skills

  • Valid state Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Minimum of 1 year of proven experience operating forklifts (sit-down, stand-up) and pallet jacks.
  • Ability to lift and move objects weighing up to 50 pounds frequently.
  • Strong understanding and commitment to workplace safety protocols.
  • Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
  • Basic computer literacy for inventory scanning and data entry.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Current Forklift Operator Certification.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse setting.
  • Experience with inventory management software or systems (e.g., WMS).
