Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick up and deliver packages to various locations within Downtown, Fort Lauderdale, adhering to scheduled timelines.
- Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and on-time performance.
- Safely operate and maintain company-provided vehicles, performing routine pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Verify contents of shipments, obtain necessary signatures, and accurately document all deliveries and pickups.
- Provide exceptional customer service, interacting with clients in a professional and courteous manner.
- Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transit and delivery.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery status, issues, or delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and local regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the delivery vehicle and report any mechanical issues promptly.
- Manage delivery manifest and paperwork accurately.
