Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome and register guests upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in process.
  • Handle all guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving for first-call resolution.
  • Process reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately using our property management system.
  • Manage cash handling, credit card transactions, and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Provide comprehensive information about our facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Answer incoming calls, direct them to the appropriate department, and take messages when necessary.
  • Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized front desk area.
  • Collaborate with other departments (Housekeeping, Maintenance, F&B) to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Adhere to all safety and security procedures and report any concerns.
  • Assist with other administrative duties as assigned by the Front Office Manager.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong customer service orientation with a genuine desire to assist guests.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software systems quickly.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm demeanor under pressure.
  • Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., retail, food service).
  • Familiarity with hospitality property management systems (e.g., Opera, Fosse).
  • Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus.
  • A passion for the hospitality industry and commitment to continuous learning.
