Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred care and support to service users during overnight hours.
- Assist with personal care, including washing, dressing, and toileting, as required and in a dignified manner.
- Administer medication according to prescribed plans and company policy, following appropriate training.
- Conduct regular welfare checks and monitor the well-being and safety of service users throughout the night.
- Document observations, care provided, and any incidents accurately and thoroughly in care records.
- Respond promptly and calmly to emergencies or unexpected situations, escalating concerns as necessary.
- Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a reassuring and comfortable environment.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organised living environment for service users.
- Adhere strictly to individual care plans, company policies, and relevant health and social care regulations.
- Ensure effective communication and handover of information to the day team.
Required Skills

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a night support worker role or similar care setting.
- SVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent qualification).
- Current First Aid certification.
- Experience with medication administration (with relevant training).
