Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labor duties at construction sites, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and operating basic hand and power tools.
- Assist skilled tradespeople (carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons) with their tasks as required.
- Load and unload construction materials, ensuring proper handling and storage.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including waste removal and site cleanup.
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, or forklifts, if certified and experienced.
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures, scaffolding, and barricades.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and foremen, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to specification.
- Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, laying out markers, and assisting with foundation work.
- Participate in daily toolbox talks and safety briefings.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Construction Worker or in a similar role.
