Job Description

As a Professional RF Engineer at Hiring.zycto, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and optimization of cutting-edge radio frequency systems. This pivotal role requires a deep understanding of RF principles, antenna theory, electromagnetics, and signal processing. You will be instrumental in all phases of product development, from initial concept and feasibility studies to detailed design, prototyping, testing, and deployment. Our projects span a diverse range of applications, including high-frequency communication systems, wireless sensing technologies, and advanced radar solutions, demanding versatility and a passion for innovation.

You will leverage your expertise to analyze complex RF system requirements, translate them into robust design specifications, and implement solutions using state-of-the-art simulation tools and laboratory equipment. This includes designing RF circuits, power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, mixers, filters, and other active/passive components for various frequency bands. A significant part of your role will involve hands-on bench testing, characterization, and troubleshooting of RF hardware to ensure performance metrics are met or exceeded. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, software developers, and project managers, to integrate RF subsystems seamlessly into larger product architectures.

Beyond circuit design and testing, you will be responsible for antenna selection, placement, and performance optimization, as well as addressing electromagnetic compatibility (EMC/EMI) challenges. Your analytical skills will be crucial for root-cause analysis of performance issues and for driving continuous improvement in product reliability and manufacturability. We are looking for an individual who is not only technically proficient but also possesses strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts, present findings, and collaborate effectively within a fast-paced R&D environment. If you are driven by the challenge of pushing technological boundaries and thrive in a collaborative setting where your contributions directly impact product success, we encourage you to apply. This role offers the opportunity to shape the future of wireless technology with a company that values expertise, creativity, and impactful engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, simulate, and analyze RF/Microwave circuits and systems (e.g., amplifiers, filters, mixers, oscillators) for various applications.
  • Conduct hands-on RF performance characterization, debugging, and troubleshooting of hardware prototypes in a lab environment.
  • Develop test plans, procedures, and fixtures for RF subsystem and system-level validation.
  • Perform link budget analysis, cascade analysis, and system-level simulations to ensure overall system performance.
  • Collaborate with mechanical, digital, and software engineering teams for seamless integration and system optimization.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate RF components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Support product transition from design to manufacturing, including DFM/DFT considerations.
  • Document designs, test results, and analysis clearly and comprehensively.
  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging RF technologies, and best practices.
