You will play a vital part in maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient laundry environment. Key Responsibilities
- Sort and categorise laundry items based on fabric type, colour, and cleaning requirements.
- Operate commercial washing, drying, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
- Inspect all items for stains, damage, and quality, treating or re-processing as necessary.
- Fold, iron, and package linens and garments according to established standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records of linen stock and report discrepancies.
- Adhere to strict health, safety, and hygiene protocols, including the safe handling of chemicals.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laundry equipment and the work area.
- Assist with the distribution and collection of clean and soiled linen.
