Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examination, history taking, and functional evaluation.
- Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans for diverse conditions.
- Administer therapeutic interventions such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, modalities, and patient education.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and document all aspects of care accurately.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatment goals, and home exercise programs.
- Maintain professional licensure and engage in continuous professional development.
- Adhere to all ethical guidelines and standards of practice within the US healthcare system.
Required Skills
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited institution.
- Current Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Colorado, USA.
- Minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience in diverse settings.
- Strong clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in administering a wide range of physiotherapy techniques and modalities.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to a new professional and social environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialist certifications (e.g., Orthopaedic Certified Specialist – OCS, Neurologic Certified Specialist – NCS).
