Key Responsibilities
- Operate dishwashing equipment efficiently to clean all crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and cooking utensils.
- Maintain impeccable cleanliness and hygiene standards across all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, walls, and storage areas.
- Assist with the unloading and proper storage of deliveries, ensuring correct stock rotation and minimal waste.
- Manage waste disposal, including emptying bins, separating recycling, and ensuring bins are cleaned regularly.
- Support the culinary team with basic food preparation tasks such as washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables when required.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment, including ovens, grills, and fridges, are kept clean and in good working order.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and food hygiene regulations, reporting any concerns immediately.
- Assist with moving kitchen inventory and equipment as needed, demonstrating careful handling and safety awareness.
