Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders from designated locations within the warehouse.
- Utilize handheld scanners and other warehouse equipment to ensure correct item identification and inventory accuracy.
- Operate pallet trucks and other manual handling equipment safely and efficiently (training provided if necessary).
- Prepare items for shipment, ensuring they are securely packed and labelled correctly.
- Assist with loading and unloading deliveries as required, adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment at all times.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or safety hazards immediately to a supervisor.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets and operational deadlines.
Required Skills
- Ability to work consistently during night shift hours (typically 10 PM – 6 AM).
- Physical fitness and ability to lift, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in order picking.
