Hiring.zycto is seeking a diligent and customer-focused Hotel Porter to join our dedicated team in Rutherglen, Glasgow. As a Hotel Porter, you are the first point of contact for our valued guests, playing a pivotal role in shaping their overall experience from the moment they arrive until their departure. Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet all arriving and departing guests, providing a memorable first and last impression.
- Efficiently assist guests with luggage handling upon arrival and departure, ensuring safe and timely delivery to and from rooms.
- Provide accurate and helpful information about hotel facilities, services, and local points of interest in Rutherglen and Glasgow.
- Assist with car parking, taxi services, and direct guests to appropriate areas within the hotel.
- Maintain a tidy and organised lobby, entrance, and public areas, ensuring a welcoming appearance.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries promptly and professionally, escalating complex issues to appropriate departments.
- Support other hotel departments as needed, including front desk, housekeeping, and concierge services.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and security policies and procedures.
- Assist with the delivery of items to guest rooms, such as newspapers, mail, or special requests.
- Operate and maintain hotel equipment such as luggage trolleys and vehicles (if applicable and licensed).
