Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet guests upon arrival and assist with the check-in and check-out process, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Manage guest reservations, modifications, and cancellations through the hotel's property management system (PMS).
- Answer phone calls promptly and courteously, addressing guest inquiries, providing information, and directing calls appropriately.
- Handle guest requests and resolve issues or complaints with professionalism, empathy, and a proactive approach, escalating to management when necessary.
- Process payments, manage cash handling, and maintain an accurate ledger of all transactions.
- Provide local recommendations and information about hotel facilities, services, and attractions in Danforth Village and wider Toronto.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting front desk and lobby area.
- Collaborate effectively with other hotel departments, including housekeeping, concierge, and management, to ensure seamless guest service.
- Adhere to all hotel policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Complete end-of-shift reports and assist with other administrative duties as required.
Required Skills
