Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces in commercial and domestic settings.
  • Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and other common areas to a high standard.
  • Empty waste bins and manage appropriate disposal of refuse.
  • Restock supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and hand soap.
  • Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, including COSHH guidelines, while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
  • Report any maintenance issues, damages, or potential hazards observed during cleaning tasks.
  • Ensure all assigned tasks are completed within specified timeframes and to the client's satisfaction.
  • Communicate effectively with clients and team members, providing excellent customer service.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 6 months of proven experience in commercial or domestic cleaning roles.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively to complete tasks efficiently.
  • Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
  • Good physical stamina and dexterity to perform demanding cleaning tasks.
  • Basic knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment usage.
  • Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines meticulously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Full UK driving license and access to own reliable transport.
  • Previous experience operating industrial cleaning machinery (e.g., floor buffers, carpet cleaners).
  • COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) training certificate.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
