Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
- Lead, train, and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including drawer reconciliation, deposits, and adherence to security protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste to optimize operational costs.
- Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
- Conduct opening and closing duties, including preparing the restaurant for service and securing the premises.
- Support the General Manager in administrative tasks, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
- Maintain product quality and consistency, ensuring all food and beverages meet brand standards.
- Handle minor equipment troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
- Proven leadership experience, ideally in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Basic computer proficiency for POS systems and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework in hospitality or business is a plus.
- Current Food Handler's certification.
- Experience with inventory management software and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
