Hiring.zycto is seeking a motivated and dynamic Shift Leader to join our thriving restaurant team in Bonita Springs, FL. As a Shift Leader, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant during your assigned shifts, playing a pivotal role in maintaining our high standards of quality, service, and cleanliness. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency and adherence to company standards.
  • Lead, train, and mentor front-of-house and back-of-house staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and effectively, maintaining high satisfaction levels.
  • Manage cash handling procedures, including drawer reconciliation, deposits, and adherence to security protocols.
  • Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste to optimize operational costs.
  • Implement and enforce health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure a clean and safe environment for guests and staff.
  • Conduct opening and closing duties, including preparing the restaurant for service and securing the premises.
  • Support the General Manager in administrative tasks, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Maintain product quality and consistency, ensuring all food and beverages meet brand standards.
  • Handle minor equipment troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance as needed.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a restaurant or food service environment.
  • Proven leadership experience, ideally in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
  • Strong customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Basic computer proficiency for POS systems and inventory management.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework in hospitality or business is a plus.
  • Current Food Handler's certification.
  • Experience with inventory management software and scheduling tools.
  • Knowledge of local health and safety regulations.
