Job Description
This role as a General Laborer at our Albany factory puts you at the heart of our production process, contributing directly to the creation and movement of our quality products. Key Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and move materials, equipment, and products throughout the factory using various tools and methods.
- Operate basic production machinery and equipment safely and efficiently under supervision.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including sweeping, cleaning spills, and disposing of waste properly.
- Assist skilled trades workers and machine operators as needed.
- Perform routine quality checks on materials and finished products.
- Adhere strictly to all safety guidelines, policies, and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality issues to supervisors immediately.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly and perform strenuous physical tasks.
