Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine quality inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
- Document inspection results accurately and promptly, including non-conformances and deviations.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues, identifying root causes, and supporting corrective actions.
- Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated according to established procedures.
- Collaborate with production team members to address quality concerns and implement preventative measures.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company quality management system (QMS) guidelines.
- Support the preparation of quality reports and assist with data entry for trend analysis.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
- Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, data entry)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Proactive problem-solving aptitude
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's degree or some college coursework in a scientific or technical field
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or regulated environment (even non-QC roles)
- Familiarity with basic quality control principles or methodologies
