Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine quality inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
  • Document inspection results accurately and promptly, including non-conformances and deviations.
  • Assist in the investigation of quality issues, identifying root causes, and supporting corrective actions.
  • Ensure all testing equipment is properly calibrated, maintained, and operated according to established procedures.
  • Collaborate with production team members to address quality concerns and implement preventative measures.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company quality management system (QMS) guidelines.
  • Support the preparation of quality reports and assist with data entry for trend analysis.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work
  • Basic computer proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite, data entry)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Proactive problem-solving aptitude
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or some college coursework in a scientific or technical field
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or regulated environment (even non-QC roles)
  • Familiarity with basic quality control principles or methodologies
  • Experience using measurement tools or laboratory equipment
