Job Description
Hiring.zycto is seeking a dedicated and proactive Residential Porter to become an integral part of our property management team in the bustling St. Vital area of Winnipeg. This isn’t just a cleaning job; it’s a pivotal role that ensures our residents experience a consistently clean, safe, and well-maintained living environment. As a Residential Porter, you are the eyes and ears of our properties, playing a crucial role in preventative maintenance and the immediate upkeep that keeps our buildings sparkling and functional. Your efforts directly contribute to the daily comfort and long-term satisfaction of everyone who calls our properties home.
You will be responsible for the daily tidiness and operational readiness of all common areas, including inviting lobbies, pristine hallways, vibrant amenity spaces, efficient laundry rooms, and well-kept grounds. Your keen eye for detail will be absolutely essential in identifying and addressing minor maintenance issues promptly, often before they escalate into larger problems. This includes performing light repairs, replacing light bulbs, ensuring all waste receptacles are managed efficiently, and reporting more significant repair needs to the appropriate personnel. Imagine starting your day by ensuring the entrance gleams, welcoming residents into a space that reflects care, professionalism, and pride. Throughout the day, you’ll manage comprehensive waste disposal programs, meticulously sweep and mop floors, clean interior and exterior windows, and meticulously maintain outdoor areas such as pathways, ensuring curb appeal is always at its best, regardless of the season.
This role requires a reliable individual with a strong work ethic, who is comfortable working independently and takes genuine pride in their work. You will be a visible and friendly face to our residents, occasionally assisting with minor requests or courteously guiding them to the appropriate contact for more complex needs. Your proactive approach to maintaining common spaces directly impacts resident satisfaction and the overall reputation of our properties. We are looking for someone who understands the profound importance of their contribution to creating a positive, harmonious, and exceptional living experience for our community members. If you’re ready to bring your dedication, meticulous nature, and commitment to hard work to a team that truly values your efforts and provides a supportive environment, we wholeheartedly encourage you to apply and help us continue to set the standard for residential excellence in St. Vital.
