Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and execute daily meals and special occasion menus for the household, adapting to varying preferences and dietary restrictions (e.g., allergies, gluten-free, vegetarian, low-sodium).
- Source and purchase fresh, high-quality ingredients from reputable local markets and suppliers, managing inventory and minimizing waste.
- Maintain the kitchen, pantry, and food storage areas to impeccable standards of cleanliness, organization, and hygiene.
- Manage kitchen budgets, track expenditures, and provide regular reports as required.
- Oversee all aspects of meal service, including presentation, timing, and occasional serving when formal dining is required.
- Coordinate with other household staff to ensure seamless daily operations.
- Research and incorporate new culinary techniques, recipes, and seasonal ingredients to keep menus fresh and exciting.
- Handle food preparation for entertaining guests, from intimate dinners to larger social events, as needed.
- Adhere strictly to food safety regulations and practices at all times.
- Travel occasionally with the family, if required, to manage culinary needs at other residences or during vacations.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Private Chef or Executive Chef in a high-end private residence, yacht, or luxury hospitality setting.
