Hiring.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and skilled Cloud Technician – Infrastructure to join our growing team in Formby, Liverpool. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in the deployment, management, and optimization of our cloud-based infrastructure, primarily focusing on ensuring high availability, performance, and security across various cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and GCP. As a Cloud Technician, you will work closely with our engineering and operations teams, providing essential support for our cloud environments. Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage cloud infrastructure resources across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Monitor cloud system performance, availability, and security using various tools.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related incidents, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Implement and maintain automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Python, Bash) for operational tasks.
- Participate in capacity planning and scaling activities to meet evolving business needs.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards within the cloud environment.
- Perform routine backups and assist in disaster recovery planning and execution.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application deployments and optimize infrastructure.
- Document infrastructure configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.

Required Skills
- Proven experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Strong understanding of Linux operating systems (e.g., Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL).
- Solid grasp of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, Firewalls).
- Experience with scripting languages for automation (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
