Key Responsibilities
- Clean and tidy all assigned guest rooms and public areas according to established standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Change bed linens, make beds, and replace used towels and toiletries.
- Vacuum carpets, mop floors, dust furniture, and clean all surfaces including mirrors, windows, and fixtures.
- Restock room supplies such as mini-bar items, amenities, and stationery.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damaged items immediately to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Handle guest requests promptly and courteously, ensuring high levels of guest satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of linen closets and storage areas.
- Properly handle and dispose of waste and recycling materials.
- Collaborate effectively with other housekeeping staff and hotel departments.
Required Skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and pushing carts for extended periods.
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and procedures.
- Effective communication skills in English.
