Job Description
Hiring.zycto is on the lookout for a passionate and ambitious Junior Product Designer to join our dynamic team in Barton Hill, Bristol. Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior product designers in conducting user research, including interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to gather insights.
- Contribute to the creation of wireframes, user flows, mockups, and prototypes that clearly communicate design ideas and user interactions.
- Participate in design critiques and team brainstorming sessions, offering fresh perspectives and actively learning from feedback.
- Help maintain and evolve our design system, ensuring consistency and efficiency across all products.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into intuitive user experiences.
- Prepare design specifications and assets for development teams, ensuring clear communication of design intent.
- Stay updated with the latest UX/UI trends, tools, and best practices, continuously seeking opportunities for professional growth.
Required Skills
- Foundational understanding of user-centred design (UCD) principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Basic knowledge of information architecture and interaction design principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts.
- A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing and functional designs.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Basic problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field.
