Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival and departure, offering assistance with luggage.
- Efficiently handle guest luggage, including loading, unloading, and storing it safely and securely.
- Assist guests with directions, information about hotel services, and local attractions.
- Deliver newspapers, mail, messages, and packages to guest rooms promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the lobby, front entrance, and luggage storage areas.
- Support the Front Desk and Concierge teams with various tasks as needed.
- Run errands for guests and staff within the hotel premises.
- Ensure the security of guest belongings and report any suspicious activity.
- Operate and maintain hotel vehicles (if applicable and licensed) for guest transport.
- Anticipate guest needs and proactively offer assistance to enhance their stay.
Required Skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service orientation with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy luggage (up to 50 lbs) and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to guest satisfaction.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a customer service role (any industry).
- Familiarity with the Woburn/Toronto area.
