Job Description

Hiring.zycto is seeking an accomplished and dynamic Director of Client Services to lead our strategic client relationships and drive superior results within our rapidly evolving agency environment. This pivotal role requires a seasoned leader with a proven track record of managing high-value client portfolios, building high-performing teams, and contributing significantly to agency growth. As the Director of Client Services, you will be the strategic lynchpin between our clients and our creative, technical, and strategic teams, ensuring seamless communication, exceptional service delivery, and the continuous evolution of client accounts.

You will be responsible for overseeing the entire client experience lifecycle, from initial engagement and strategic planning to campaign execution and post-campaign analysis. This includes developing robust account strategies that align with client business objectives, identifying new opportunities for growth within existing accounts, and collaborating closely with various internal departments to exceed client expectations. A key aspect of this role involves mentoring and developing a team of account managers and executives, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to meet and exceed client objectives and agency revenue targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of account managers and executives, fostering professional growth and high performance.
  • Cultivate and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients, serving as their primary strategic advisor and trusted partner.
  • Oversee the entire client service lifecycle, ensuring exceptional service delivery, project quality, and client satisfaction.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative, strategy, media, and production teams to ensure integrated and effective campaign execution.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing client accounts to drive organic growth.
  • Manage client budgets, forecasts, and profitability, ensuring financial health of accounts.
  • Develop and implement client feedback mechanisms to continuously improve service quality and client experience.
  • Represent the agency effectively in client meetings, presentations, and industry events.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market changes, and client competitive landscapes to inform strategic recommendations.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in client services, account management, or business development within an advertising or marketing agency.
  • Proven leadership experience, including managing and developing a team of client-facing professionals.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities with a strong business acumen.
  • Superior communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex client relationships and drive significant account growth.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing strategies across various channels (digital, traditional, experiential).
  • Proficiency in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility for client accounts.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Experience working with enterprise-level clients and managing multi-million dollar budgets.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and project management tools.
  • Proven ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic agency environment.
  • Experience in specific industries relevant to our client portfolio (e.g., tech, finance, consumer goods).
