Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point of Sale (POS) system.
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and mobile payment transactions with precision.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting customers, answering inquiries, and resolving minor issues.
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and organized checkout area and assist with general store cleanliness.
- Assist with stock replenishment, merchandising, and ensuring products are accurately priced.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including cash handling, security, and health and safety guidelines.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.
- Promote company loyalty programs, special offers, and provide information on products/services as needed.
- Assist in opening and closing procedures as required by shift schedules.
