Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models and systems from research to production.
- Build and optimize robust data pipelines for training, inference, and model monitoring.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineering teams to define ML-driven solutions that address key business challenges.
- Lead technical discussions, architectural decisions, and code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code.
- Mentor junior engineers, share knowledge, and promote best practices in MLOps, software engineering, and responsible AI development.
- Research and evaluate new machine learning techniques, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our capabilities.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot deployed ML models for performance, accuracy, and stability in production environments.
- Ensure the ethical development and responsible deployment of AI solutions, adhering to data privacy and security standards.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning Engineering, Software Engineering with an ML focus, or a related quantitative field.
- Proficiency in Python and extensive experience with core ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.
- Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, data structures, and computer science fundamentals.
- Demonstrated experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools/practices for deployment and orchestration.
- Solid grasp of software engineering principles, design patterns, and experience working with distributed systems.
- Expertise in data manipulation and querying using SQL, Spark, or similar big data technologies.
- Exceptional problem-solving, analytical thinking, and communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical concepts clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architectures.
