Job Description
A Senior Cloud Architect at Hiring.zycto is a pivotal role, responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure across our Azure and AWS environments. You will lead the evaluation and selection of cloud technologies, championing innovative solutions that enhance performance, optimize costs, and bolster security. This involves collaborating closely with development teams, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into effective architectural blueprints. From defining enterprise-level cloud governance and security policies to overseeing the migration of on-premise applications and data, your impact will be broad and significant.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions on Azure and AWS platforms.
- Lead the development of cloud architecture blueprints, standards, and best practices.
- Architect and oversee the migration of existing applications and data to cloud environments.
- Define and enforce cloud governance policies, security frameworks, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate cloud services into existing and new applications.
- Perform regular cloud environment assessments, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior cloud engineers and architects.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging cloud technologies, and best practices, particularly within Azure and AWS.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans for cloud infrastructure.
- Manage and optimize cloud resource consumption and costs.
Required Skills
- Expertise in architecting and deploying solutions on Microsoft Azure (e.g., Azure IaaS, PaaS, Networking, Security Center, Azure DevOps).
- Expertise in architecting and deploying solutions on Amazon Web Services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda).
- Strong understanding of cloud security principles and best practices.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (VPCs, VPNs, DNS, Load Balancers).
- Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proven ability to lead technical projects and mentor team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert certification.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with hybrid cloud architectures.
