Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including personal hygiene (bathing, grooming), dressing, and mobility.
- Support clients with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and feeding as required.
- Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' physical, mental, or emotional health to supervisory staff.
- Assist with medication reminders as per care plan and scope of practice.
- Accompany clients to appointments and participate in community outings.
- Adhere strictly to care plans, safety protocols, and company policies and procedures.
- Maintain clear and accurate documentation of client care and observations.
- Promote a safe and comfortable environment for clients at all times.

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Basic understanding of health and safety principles

Preferred Qualifications
- Enrollment in or completion of a Personal Support Worker (PSW) program (not mandatory, but an asset)
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle (preferred for travel between client homes)
- Experience caring for family members or volunteers in a care setting
