Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies.
- Handle cash and card transactions using a POS system, ensuring accuracy.
- Assist with the preparation of light food items, such as sandwiches, pastries, and cakes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across the café, including tables, counters, and equipment.
- Restock display cabinets, fridges, and condiment stations as needed.
- Clear tables, wash dishes, and maintain a tidy and organised back-of-house area.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve minor issues promptly and politely.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
- Adhere to all food safety and health and safety regulations.
