Key Responsibilities
- Warmly welcome and seat guests, presenting menus and explaining daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, using our POS system, and relaying them to the kitchen and bar staff.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring presentation standards are met.
- Monitor guest satisfaction, anticipate needs, and respond to requests and concerns courteously and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit cards, and other payment methods.
- Assist with setting up and breaking down dining areas for service, including polishing cutlery and glassware.
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other front-of-house team members.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a fast-paced restaurant or bistro environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a genuine passion for hospitality.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a busy setting.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to guest needs.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
