Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations via secure telehealth platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to client needs.
- Provide individual, couple, or family therapy using various therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, Psychodynamic).
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential client records in compliance with professional and legal standards.
- Collaborate with internal clinical team members and external healthcare professionals as appropriate.
- Participate in regular clinical supervision, team meetings, and professional development activities.
- Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards set by regulatory bodies.
- Manage caseload efficiently, including scheduling appointments and follow-ups.
Required Skills
- Doctorate degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university.
- Current and unrestricted license to practice as a Psychologist in Ontario, Canada.
- Proficiency in delivering evidence-based psychotherapy across diverse populations.
- Strong diagnostic assessment skills and formulation abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort and competence with telehealth technology and secure virtual platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with a broad range of mental health conditions including anxiety, depression, trauma, and mood disorders.
- Proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Certification or specialized training in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT-I, EMDR).
- Prior experience in a remote or virtual care setting.
