Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with the preparation and dispensing of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to all safety protocols.
- Manage and organize pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, and rotating medications and supplies.
- Process patient prescriptions, maintaining accurate patient profiles and confidentiality.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and assisting with over-the-counter product selection.
- Operate pharmacy computer systems for data entry, billing, and record-keeping.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace and dispensing areas.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing, and managing correspondence.
- Adhere to all provincial and federal regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Learn and adapt to new pharmacy technologies and practices as required.
- Collaborate effectively with pharmacists and other team members to ensure optimal patient care.
