Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies that align with brand objectives and drive community growth across platforms like Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Create, curate, and manage all published content (images, video, written) ensuring brand consistency and engagement.
  • Monitor, listen, and respond to users in a 'social' way while cultivating and moderating online conversations.
  • Oversee social media campaigns from conception to execution, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence.
  • Utilize social media analytics tools to track, measure, and report on performance, identifying key insights and recommending data-driven optimizations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest social media best practices, tools, technologies, and platform changes, integrating new trends into our strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, content creation, PR) to ensure a cohesive brand message.
  • Identify and engage with influencers and key community members to expand reach and build partnerships.
  • Develop and manage social media calendars, ensuring a consistent flow of engaging content.
  • Manage crisis communication on social media platforms as needed, protecting brand reputation.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role (minimum 4 years).
  • Excellent knowledge of all major social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube).
  • Demonstrable experience in building and growing online communities.
  • Strong understanding of social media KPIs and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Hootsuite, Sprout Social).
  • Proficiency in content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Exceptional copywriting and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Creative thinking and ability to innovate in content and engagement strategies.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Experience working within a digital agency environment.
