Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic clinical leadership and oversight for all medical services.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor clinical policies, protocols, and best practice guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance with all provincial and federal healthcare regulations and accreditation standards.
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs to enhance clinical outcomes.
  • Lead and mentor medical staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Participate in strategic planning with the executive team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Manage clinical budgets and resource allocation effectively.

Required Skills

  • Medical licensure in Ontario (CPSO eligible/registered).
  • Minimum 10 years of clinical practice experience.
  • Minimum 5 years in a medical leadership or administrative role.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement clinical strategies.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven experience in quality improvement and patient safety.
  • Proficiency in healthcare regulations and compliance.
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, and manage diverse medical teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Health Administration (MHA), Business Administration (MBA), or equivalent.
  • Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems implementation and optimization.
