Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily production activities across assigned manufacturing lines.
  • Ensure production targets are met consistently while upholding stringent quality standards.
  • Implement and rigorously enforce all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Train, mentor, and motivate production team members to achieve peak performance and foster skill development.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), analyze production data, and generate comprehensive reports on operational performance.
  • Identify and proactively troubleshoot production issues, implementing effective corrective and preventative actions.
  • Optimize workflow processes and champion lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate effectively with other departments, including Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Supply Chain, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage material flow and maintain accurate inventory levels on the production line to prevent disruptions.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and manage disciplinary actions as needed, following company policies.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 4 years) in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of modern manufacturing processes, including lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and production schedules.
  • Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software (e.g., ERP/MRP systems).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities under pressure.
  • In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations relevant to manufacturing.
  • Ability to thrive and maintain productivity in a fast-paced, demanding production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related technical field.

  • Experience with specific Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).
  • Familiarity with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100).
  • First Aid certification or similar emergency response training.
