Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload freight from trucks and trailers, utilizing appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Sort and organize packages, pallets, and other cargo according to destination or other specified criteria.
- Inspect freight for damage and accurately report any discrepancies or issues.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment after proper training and certification.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment on the dock and in the warehouse.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient operations and meet daily targets.
- Perform general warehouse duties as required.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) consistently throughout a shift.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to reliability and punctuality.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members and follow instructions.
