Key Responsibilities
- Assisting skilled tradespersons (e.g., bricklayers, carpenters, plasterers) with various tasks.
- Loading and unloading construction materials, tools, and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Preparing construction sites by cleaning debris, removing hazards, and setting up temporary structures.
- Operating basic hand and power tools under supervision, adhering to all safety guidelines.
- Digging trenches, compacting earth, and performing general excavation duties as required.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment, including tidying up at the end of shifts.
- Adhering strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies on site.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and perform strenuous tasks.
- Strong work ethic and reliability, including punctuality and consistent attendance.
- Basic understanding of construction site safety procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work effectively as part of a team.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new tasks and techniques.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working on a construction site (even short-term or voluntary).
- Valid CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
