Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive topographical, boundary, and measured building surveys using modern equipment.
- Prepare detailed survey reports, plans, and digital models using CAD and GIS software.
- Carry out accurate property valuations across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
- Produce RICS-compliant valuation reports for various purposes including acquisition, disposal, and loan security.
- Manage individual projects from initial client brief through to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Liaise directly with clients, local authorities, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide expert advice.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation, RICS standards, and industry best practices.
- Contribute to business development initiatives and foster strong client relationships.
Required Skills
- RICS membership (MRICS status).
- Proven experience in both land surveying and property valuation.
- Proficiency with surveying software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, N4CE) and GIS platforms.
- Strong understanding of UK planning regulations, land law, and valuation methodologies.
- Exceptional report writing, analytical, and verbal communication skills.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel for site visits.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a professional team.
Preferred Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Real Estate, or a related discipline.
- Experience with drone surveying (UAV) technology and LiDAR data processing.
- Demonstrable project management experience on complex land or property-related assignments.
