Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Operations Manager in overseeing daily operational activities to ensure efficiency and adherence to company standards.
  • Coordinate and monitor staff schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and optimal resource allocation across departments.
  • Manage inventory of operational supplies, conducting regular audits and liaising with vendors to ensure timely procurement.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints, resolving issues promptly and professionally to enhance satisfaction.
  • Support the implementation of new operational procedures and training initiatives for front-line staff.
  • Prepare and compile operational reports, including performance metrics, occupancy rates, and incident logs.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations, conducting routine checks and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, data entry, and record-keeping pertinent to operational activities.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 1.5 years of experience in a hospitality or operational support role.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with guests and staff at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with hospitality management software (e.g., PMS systems).
  • Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities and the ability to remain calm and effective under pressure.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience with staff coordination or scheduling.
