Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead installers in preparing job sites, including unloading and staging cabinets and materials.
- Help with the safe and efficient transportation of tools and equipment to and from job sites.
- Learn and perform basic cabinet installation tasks under direct supervision, such as drilling, leveling, and securing units.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sweeping, debris removal, and proper tool storage.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures diligently to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and the team.
- Support the team with various ad-hoc tasks as required to ensure project completion.
- Communicate effectively with lead installers and team members, asking questions and seeking clarification when needed.
- Handle materials and finished products with care to prevent damage.
- Help with the clean-up and proper disposal of waste materials after installation.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) regularly.
- Basic understanding of measurements and a willingness to learn how to use measuring tools.
- Strong work ethic and a proactive attitude.
- Reliable transportation to and from job sites within the Toronto area.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
