As a Maintenance Worker, you will be instrumental in ensuring the longevity and operational efficiency of our buildings. Your daily activities will span from routine inspections and preventive maintenance to emergency repairs, covering everything from minor plumbing issues, basic electrical faults (non-certified, basic repairs like bulb replacement or fuse checks), and carpentry work, to plastering, painting, and general handyman tasks. We are looking for someone who takes initiative, possesses strong diagnostic skills, and is committed to delivering high-quality workmanship with minimal supervision.
You will be expected to manage your workload efficiently, prioritize tasks based on urgency, and maintain accurate records of all completed work and materials used. Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on properties, equipment, and systems.
- Execute general repairs and maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, basic electrical (non-certified), carpentry, painting, and plastering.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests and emergency repairs.
- Diagnose problems, determine appropriate solutions, and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed, materials used, and service schedules.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with tenants, property managers, and external contractors regarding repair statuses and schedules.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Worker or Handyman
- Proficiency in general repairs including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting
