Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned premises and property, both internal and external.
- Monitor surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and other security equipment for suspicious activity or breaches.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to alarms, disturbances, and emergency situations.
- Enforce site rules, regulations, and access control procedures, ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas.
- Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities in detailed and accurate logbooks.
- Provide excellent customer service and direction to visitors, employees, and clients.
- Assist in emergency evacuation procedures and provide first aid when necessary.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
Required Skills
- Excellent observational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy for report writing and monitoring systems.
- Physical stamina to perform patrols and stand for extended periods.
- Must be eligible to obtain or already possess a valid Ontario Security Guard License.
- Valid G class driver's license (an asset for some patrol duties).
Preferred Qualifications

- First Aid and CPR certification.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
