Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the construction, maintenance, and repair of railway tracks, including laying ties, rails, and ballast.
- Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools under supervision, adhering strictly to safety guidelines.
- Clear brush, debris, and snow from tracks and surrounding areas to ensure operational safety.
- Perform general labor tasks on job sites, including digging, lifting, carrying materials, and general cleanup.
- Inspect track components for defects and report findings to senior crew members.
- Participate in daily safety briefings and ensure compliance with all company and regulatory safety standards.
- Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.
