Key Responsibilities
- Continuously monitor work areas for potential hazards and unsafe conditions or practices.
- Ensure strict adherence to all company safety policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Provide immediate verbal warnings to workers observed engaging in unsafe acts and report persistent issues to supervisors.
- Maintain constant vigilance during high-risk operations, such as confined space entries, hot work, or working at heights.
- Communicate effectively with all personnel regarding safety concerns and preventative measures.
- Assist in emergency response procedures, including alerting relevant parties and directing personnel to safety.
- Document observations, incidents, and safety interventions accurately and promptly.
- Attend all required safety meetings and training sessions to continuously improve safety knowledge and skills.
- Inspect safety equipment for proper function and report any defects.
- Support the overall safety culture by promoting best practices and encouraging a proactive approach to safety.
