Job Description

As a Social Worker – Family & Community with Hiring.zycto, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the fabric of families and communities across Richmond, London. This is an exceptional opportunity for a compassionate, skilled, and dedicated professional to contribute to our mission of fostering resilience, well-being, and positive outcomes for children, adults, and families in need. You will manage a diverse caseload, providing comprehensive assessments, developing tailored intervention plans, and coordinating access to essential services and resources. Your expertise will be crucial in empowering individuals and families to navigate challenges, access support networks, and achieve stability and growth.

Your work will encompass a broad spectrum of challenges, from safeguarding vulnerable individuals and promoting child welfare to supporting families through complex transitions, mental health crises, and economic hardship. You will be a key advocate for service users, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected, while also collaborating with and influencing local community groups to foster a more inclusive and supportive environment for all residents. We expect you to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, law enforcement, and various third-sector organizations, to ensure a seamless, integrated, and holistic approach to care delivery. Building trusted, professional relationships with service users, understanding their unique circumstances, and empowering them to achieve their full potential will be at the very heart of your daily practice and impact.

We are looking for an individual who is not only adept at navigating complex social issues but also brings a creative, empathetic, and culturally sensitive approach to problem-solving. You will be expected to maintain meticulous and accurate records, adhere strictly to all relevant national and local legislation, professional standards, and ethical guidelines, ensuring best practices in social work are consistently upheld. Furthermore, your insights and contributions will be vital in informing the continuous improvement and innovation of our services, helping us to adapt and evolve to meet the ever-changing needs of our community. This role demands excellent verbal and written communication skills, robust analytical abilities to assess complex situations, and the capacity to remain calm, objective, and focused under pressure, especially during crisis intervention. Join a team where your expertise is highly valued, your commitment to social justice translates into real, lasting change for those who need it most, and your professional development is actively encouraged through ongoing training and supervision. Your dedication will directly shape healthier, more connected, and more resilient communities within Richmond.
