Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including variance analysis, trend analysis, and performance metrics.
  • Develop and maintain complex financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports, presentations, and dashboards for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor performance, and economic indicators to identify risks and opportunities.
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, understand business drivers, and support financial objectives.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting, adhering to internal policies and regulatory standards.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, or forecasting.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, financial modeling) and PowerPoint.
  • Strong understanding of financial statements (Income Statement, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain a work visa in Canada with company sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) designation or progress towards it.
  • Master's degree in Finance or Business Administration (MBA).
  • Experience with financial planning software (e.g., SAP BPC, Oracle Hyperion, Adaptive Insights).
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Prior experience in the financial services or technology sectors.
