Key Responsibilities
- Perform a full range of hair services including cutting, styling, colouring, and chemical treatments for diverse clientele.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their needs, preferences, and hair type, recommending suitable services and products.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current hair trends, techniques, and products to offer innovative solutions.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring repeat business and positive referrals.
- Manage client appointments efficiently and contribute to salon cleanliness and organization.
- Promote and sell professional hair care products, enhancing client results and contributing to salon revenue.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations, maintaining a sterile and safe working environment.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure a harmonious and productive salon atmosphere.
- Attend training sessions and workshops to continuously enhance skills and professional development.
Required Skills
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Hairdressing (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of demonstrable experience as a Hair Stylist in a professional salon environment
- Proficiency in advanced cutting and colouring techniques
- Excellent client consultation and communication skills
- Strong ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets (products and services)
- A passion for the hair and beauty industry and continuous learning
- Professional, reliable, and punctual demeanor
