Key Responsibilities
- Accurately sort and separate various packages, parcels, and items according to designated categories (e.g., size, destination, type of product).
- Load and unload materials from conveyors, pallets, and other storage areas.
- Scan and document incoming and outgoing items using hand-held scanners or manual methods as required.
- Inspect items for damage or discrepancies and report any issues to supervisors immediately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily sorting targets.
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to support overall operations.
- Adhere to strict timelines and quality standards to ensure accurate and timely processing of goods.
Required Skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in a warehouse setting (training provided).
